My adventure with painting began many years ago thanks to my son. It was in Hel, we were spending holidays together. The weather of that summer did not spoil us. I bought crayons for my child – like an ordinary thing – and a drawing pad to fill the gray landscape around us with colors. Collected field flowers in a vase became my first inspiration to paint a picture with children’s crayons. This inconspicuous creative act gave me great joy.
I have already painted another picture on canvas with oil paints outdoors in California. The occasion was a medical conference during which I met a plastic surgeon. Painting was his passion. It was thanks to his inspiration that I dared to take the brush in my hand and dip it in oil colors. By experimenting, I tried to express with the image again what I see in front of me. Although I was afraid that I would waste the canvas, the joy that I felt while creating won won again. After returning to Poland, I started participating in painting courses and workshops. For several years I was looking for my own artistic path, improving my skills of expressing myself through art. Today I know that this passion has also turned out to be very helpful in my professional work. An aesthetic medicine doctor, apart from professional qualifications, should develop aesthetic sensitivity and be an artist.
In my discovery of the world, I try to look not only ahead, but deeper, I learn to penetrate what my soul feels.
